The studio’s Play of the Day is the fast-paced spy adventure, made famous by master of suspense Alfred Hitchcock. All told in under an hour, step inside the broadcasting studio and the making of a live radio drama by an ensemble of four actors. Twists and turns are guaranteed as man-on-the-run Richard Hannay travels the length and breadth of Britain in search of the truth behind... The 39 Steps.

This production continued our Pay What You Feel scheme, making live performance accessible to all.
