The Lab is the heart of collaboration at Ten Feet Tall Theatre.
A space for North East artists to test, experiment, collaborate and explore new possibilities, The Lab brings together performers, writers, directors and theatre-makers in a supportive environment where ideas can be shared, challenged and developed.
Whether you're nurturing the first spark of a new project, exploring a creative question, or simply looking to connect with other like-minded artists, The Lab provides space to play without the pressure of creating a finished production.
Ten Feet Tall Theatre works closely with Lab members to shape the programme throughout the year. You might bring an idea you'd like to test, explore a particular area of practice, or share a skill with the group. Together, we create a programme that responds to the interests, ambitions and creative needs of the artists involved.
Members are encouraged to actively support and participate in one another's sessions, helping to build a generous and collaborative creative community.
No two Labs are the same — that's exactly the point.
The Lab is a space for curiosity, risk-taking and artistic growth, powered by a community of generous and passionate North East theatre-makers.

Fly Cup
A wee cuppa, a catch-up and a chance to connect.
Fly Cup Sessions are informal drop-in sessions for North East artists working in theatre and performance.
Come along for a cuppa, meet other creatives, chat about ideas, ask questions about the industry, and get to know the Ten Feet Tall team.

Casting Opportunities
We’re always interested in hearing from actors and performers based in the North East of Scotland. If you’d like to be considered for future Ten Feet Tall Theatre productions, you’re welcome to send us your CV and headshot at any time. We’ll keep your details on file and get in touch if a future project or role feels like a good fit.
