Stage 1
For ages 18 and over
10 weeks
Venue: Aberdeen Grammar School, AB10 1HT
Time: Tuesdays 6.10pm - 7.40pm
Term Starts: 13th January
Off / Holidays: 10th February
Final Session of term: 26th March
Fee: Pay What You Can
For budding actors, this weekly session is about building confidence and discovering the basics of performing in a friendly group environment. You will work with an experienced tutor to develop creative and technical skills whilst feeling safe and supported throughout.

FUSE Drama Group
For ages 14 - 18
20 weeks
Venue: Woodside Fountain Centre, AB24 2QY
Time: Tuesdays 7pm-9pm
Term Starts: 13th January
Off / Holidays: 10th February, 31st March, 7th April
Final Session: 16th June
Fee: Pay What You Can
This is the place to meet friends and explore your performance skills. Led by an experienced professional facilitator, you will develop your performing skills and have a great time with likeminded people.

Off / Holidays: 12th February, 2nd April, 9th April
Final Session and sharing: 18th June
Fee: Pay What You Can
Explore voice, movement and acting in our Stage 2 Performance Group; a 20-week programme designed to deepen your skills, stretch your craft and support your development as a performer.
During the term, you’ll apply your learning through rehearsals and present a performance to an invited audience.
Please note: This is an open-access course with no formal entry requirements, but to fully benefit you should have some experience in acting.
You’ll also be required to prepare independently outside class time - for instance, familiarising yourself with lines.

The LAB
For Students, Graduates and Professionals only
The LAB is the heart of collaboration. It's a place to test, experiment, collaborate and explore new possibilities all the whilst keeping connected with amazing like-minded NE artists.
You can lead the group on sessions to test, play and develop your idea, or you can run a skills-based workshop to keep everyone well tuned with their performance skills. In return, you support and participate in other group members sessions.
What you can explore is totally up to you...it can be devising, new writing, physical theatre, acting technique, chorus/ensemble work - the list is is endless . . .

Encore! Script Reading Group
Encore! at Music Hall is produced by Aberdeen Performing Arts in association with Ten Feet Tall
Join us in our relaxed reading sessions where we will explore and discuss a great play. You don't need to perform and no advance reading is required, just be ready to discover the stories behind the notable text.

Ensemble Productions
This is the place to develop live performance with like-minded people. Focus on delivering quality performances and developing your craft, all the whilst having fun! Rehearsals will take place weekly in evenings, so to accommodate participants work and care commitments and the final performances will be open to the public to come and see what a fantastic creative community we have here in the NE.

Men Should Weep

THIS PRODUCTION IS NOW FULLY CAST.
Set during the 1930s Depression, this classic by Ena Lamont Stewart offers a powerful and poignant portrayal of tenement life in Scotland. Focusing on the lives of a working class family and surrounding community, the play explores themes of poverty, gender roles, and resilience in the face of hardship. Its enduring relevance and emotional impact are key reasons it continues to resonate with modern audiences.
